My name is Wilfried OYAMBE. I am a student at the University of Yaoundé II (soa) in Yaoundé in Cameroon (Central Africa).
I am trying to convey a message to Yoko Kanno, an artist whose work I greatly appreciate.
I wanted to write to you personally because I am an eclectic music lover. While crisscrossing my music library yesterday, I came across – Yakusoku Wa Iranai -.
The intense emotion that this music gave me led me to seek the author. And I found out it was you.
This music is extremely beautiful and intense. I tell you what I felt.
By chance, I also discovered that you are the author of two other musics that touch me: Gravity, and The Real Folk Blues.
Your music is so beautiful, emotional, colorful, spiritual, fluid, narrative, that I read your interviews until 4:00 a.m.
I can’t believe my ears, it’s so beautiful.
Besides, I also learned that you are considering going on a trip to Africa.
I will be honored to make you discover my country Cameroon, and to guide you (even if it is not my training).
In any case, thank you, Mrs. Yoko Kanno.

So I have removed them and published.
It was very cute, I’m sorry for it.
Hi! My name is Christian and I’m a lofi music producer from New York by the name of taomei. I was super inspired by Cowboy Bebop, your production on the show, and especially the song “Green Bird”. I was so inspired that I decided to sample the song and turn it into a lofi-type beat. I would love to share this song on Spotify, but unfortunately I need a master license to do so. Is there any possible way you can provide me with a master music license to post this song? I know this is asking a lot, so I understand if that is not possible. I appreciate you taking the time to read this regardless! You can listen to the song on Soundcloud for the time being: https://soundcloud.com/taomei/bird-lullabycowboy-bebop-green-bird-flip
Again, thank you for your wonderful music!
This is a wonderful project. I want to thank everyone who participated but even more to those who lend their fame to draw in the participants, the people who came up with the idea, and the people who did something with the idea. Salute to you for making the world tangibly better!

Hi Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts!
I just wanted to say that your music is so important to me. After watching some cowboy bebop episodes when I was around 16 years old (now I am 32). The music made such a great impact on me, that I wanted to learn to play an instrument. I bought a guitar and one of the first songs I tried to learn on guitar was ‘don`t bother none’. I also wanted to learn ELM on guitar, but that was away over my head hehe. Internet didn`t have much info about Yoko Kanno and The seatbelts at the time, but I found a name of a studio, and tried to write my first “fan letter”, but I think that was a totally wrong place to send, hehe. I just wanted to say that Yoko Kanno`s music is like fresh air to me. All the times when I have been feeling low, I knew that I could just play some music of Yoko kanno and I would feel much better. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
The Seatbelts and Ms. Kanno
Listening to your music brings much needed joy to my life! I am so thankful for all of your hard work.
Knock a little harder!
